Kidney Stones — Non-Surgical Support

Dissolve, Pass and Prevent — Without Surgery

Kidney stones cause intense pain and carry a high risk of recurrence — with conventional medicine often offering only pain management or surgical intervention. Advanced Homeopathy can support the dissolution of small stones, ease their passage, and — critically — address the metabolic and dietary root causes to prevent new stones from forming.

What is Kidney Stones (Renal Calculi)?

Kidney stones (renal calculi) are hard mineral deposits that form in the kidneys when urine becomes concentrated. They range from the size of a grain of sand to several centimetres. Small stones (less than 5mm) can often pass naturally; larger stones may require intervention. Homeopathy is most effective for small-to-medium stones and for preventing recurrence — which affects over 50% of patients within 5 years of their first stone.

Why Kidney Stones Keep Coming Back

The majority of patients who have one kidney stone will develop another — because the underlying metabolic tendency (high calcium, high uric acid, low hydration, or dietary patterns) has not been corrected. Conventional treatment addresses the stone but not the tendency to form stones. Advanced Homeopathy corrects the individual's metabolic and constitutional predisposition — reducing the likelihood of recurrence significantly.

💧
Dehydration
Insufficient fluid intake is the most common cause — concentrated urine allows minerals to crystallise.
🍽️
Dietary Factors
High intake of oxalate-rich foods, animal protein, sodium, and sugar increases stone risk.
🧬
Metabolic Disorders
Hyperparathyroidism, high uric acid, and other metabolic conditions promote stone formation.
🧪
Urinary Tract Infections
Recurrent UTIs can contribute to struvite stone formation.
💊
Medication Side Effects
Certain medications can increase the risk of stone formation in susceptible individuals.
🌡️
Climate & Geography
Hot climates and prolonged outdoor work increase dehydration risk and stone formation.

How Dr. Meenakshi Treats Kidney Stones (Renal Calculi)

Dr. Meenakshi evaluates the complete clinical picture — stone type (if known), pain characteristics, urinary symptoms, dietary habits, water intake, and constitutional profile. The individualised homoeopathic remedy is selected to ease the passage of existing stones, reduce urinary inflammation, and — through metabolic regulation — reduce the tendency to form new stones. Dietary guidance is provided alongside treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can homeopathy dissolve kidney stones?
+
Homeopathy can support the passage of small stones and reduce the pain during passage. Very large stones (over 10mm) typically require urological intervention — but homeopathy can support recovery and prevent recurrence even after surgery.
My stone is 6mm. Is surgery necessary?
+
A 6mm stone sits in a borderline range. Many 6mm stones pass naturally with adequate hydration and support. Homeopathy can assist this process. The decision ultimately depends on its location and whether it is causing obstruction — your urologist should be consulted.
Can homeopathy prevent stones from forming again?
+
This is where homeopathy is particularly valuable. By correcting the individual's metabolic tendencies and constitutional predisposition, the rate of recurrence can be significantly reduced.
How long does treatment take?
+
Acute stone episodes are managed over 4–8 weeks. Preventive treatment to reduce recurrence is typically 3–6 months.
